اختصاصی Remanufactured Elliptical Trainers - Are They a Good Deal?

There are on-line distributors of fitness equipment who offer both new and remanufactured or refurbished machines. The most common types of remanufactured equipment are treadmills and elliptical trainers. This article will focus on remanufactured and refurbished elliptical trainers, but the basic concepts apply to any type of remanufactured or refurbished fitness equipment.

It's typically higher-end commercial-grade elliptical trainers (MSRP over $3000), which are remanufactured or refurbished and offered for resale. This is because they can be offered at a substantially reduced price compared to new ellipticals and the distributor still makes a decent profit.

Health clubs that want to keep costs down are typically the buyers of wholesale electrostatic powder coating paint or refurbished equipment. They often buy more than one. It's easy to see the cost savings at this level -- buy 5 remanufactured elliptical trainers that retail new for $5500 and get them for $3000 remanufactured

It's important to distinguish between used, refurbished, and remanufactured equipment. The bottom line is that whether it's refurbished or remanufactured it's still used equipment and just like buying a used car, you need to protect yourself.

Keeping this important point in mind, can you get yourself a good deal? Absolutely! Just do your homework before deciding to purchase one of these ellipticals.

Used Ellipticals - Private individuals usually offer these. You won't get any warranty so you're stuck if the elliptical trainer has problems as soon as you get it home. This is the riskiest way to buy a used elliptical trainer. In general, unless the elliptical trainer is an expensive, high-end machine that is still it the box and offered for next to nothing, you should probably stay away from it.

    اختصاصی Painting Cast Iron Radiators

So you have sourced some wonderful reclaimed cast iron radiators, or you want to refurbish your Victorian period radiators, but what is the best way of bringing them back to their former glory?

Below are a few tips to achieving a stunning yet hard-wearing painted finish on cast iron radiators.

    1. DON'T power coat!

Some companies offer a powder coating service. This method can produce a fabulous finish, BUT... cast iron radiators are not designed to go through the high oven temperatures and prolonged baking process involved in powder coating. Many experts advise against this option as there is a very real risk that the seals between sections will be damaged during baking which will lead to leaking radiators. For this reason, powder coating will invalidate any manufacturer's guarantee.

    2. DO use cellulose or acrylic based paint

There is no need to use expensive specialist radiator paints. You can achieve a perfect finish using cellulose-based paint or acrylic-based spray paint. For instance, car paint is perfect for radiators as it is designed to cope with extremes of temperature and be tough enough to withstand relatively intense wear and tear. If you like the look of aluminum profile powder coating for sale, then a similar looking end result can be achieved by using products like "Plasti-kote", a spray paint available from many DIY stores.

    3. DON'T use water based paint

If you use water based paint on cast iron you will almost certainly end up with orange "rust blooms". Some "specialist" paint is water based and even has a picture of a cast iron radiator on the tin but use this at your peril!

    4. DO spray paint rather than brush paint

Cast iron's textured finish is forgiving, so a good paint finish is easily achievable. If you are planning on painting the radiators yourself by hand, then we recommend using spray paint as it is difficult to reach into the middle columns and achieve a consistent finish using a brush.

اختصاصی 4 Advantages of a Custom Coating

Many businesses in a variety of industries can benefit from having a custom coating applied to their equipment. Of course there are many standard coatings that might work just fine, but often standard coatings do not have the precise specifications that are needed for the job. Why settle for "just fine" when you can have "perfect?" Here are five reasons every company should consider custom coatings for their equipment:

    1. You receive the precise combination of characteristics you are looking for rather than just some of them. Every material has its own characteristics, which is important when you are considering which coating to apply. However, standard coatings are precisely that-standard. They may have some beneficial properties, but other properties might not be too great for what you need. The only way to get the perfect set of characteristics for your application is to have a qualified company engineer a coating for you.

    2. Safety is a high priority. Of course having the right properties in the fuiture powder coating manufacturers you use is important because it keeps the working environment safe. For example, photoluminescent properties may be needed in applications that require working in a dark space. Non-slip properties might be required if there is a lot of liquid that could make the floor slippery. No matter what safety measures you need, a custom coating can be engineered to meet your specifications precisely.

    3. You have total control over what goes into making your coating. Many standard coatings contain additives, which can cause major issues inside certain tanks or machines. If you don't know exactly what is in the coatings you apply, then it's much better to have them custom engineered so that you can avoid problems with and shutdowns of your machinery.

    4. The operating temperatures of your machinery make a huge difference. Custom coatings are also the best way to get around extremely high or low operating temperatures inside your equipment. With a custom coating, you can rest assured that it is engineered exactly to withstand the temperatures you need it to withstand.

اختصاصی Metal Outdoor Furniture - Explained

Mention metal patio fuiture and you probably think of the light, fly-away aluminium loungers of your youth or that half-ton cast iron table and chair set on your neighbour's lawn.

But metal outdoor fuiture has come a long way. Here's a quick primer on the available types and their care.

    Construction Methods

Metal is fashioned into fuiture in one of three main ways: extrusion, casting, and welding.

Extrusion forces melted metal through long pipes and forms long narrow tubes of metal, sometimes solid, but often hollow.

Casting metal involves a form, or cast, shaped like the finished product. The molten metal is poured into the form and then the form is removed when the metal has solidified. Cast pieces are almost always solid.

Forging, a process in which metal is heated and hammered into shape produces the type of fuiture known as "wrought" metal. It uses pipes and various solid pieces of the metal and joins them together by welding or bolting.

    Common Materials

The most common metal outdoor fuiture is made from iron or aluminium, although the use of steel, especially stainless steel, is growing.

Iron is a chemical element that is naturally malleable and rusts easily. Vintage pieces, usually in black or dark green, can be found at premium prices and must be carefully maintained to prevent further rusting. Mode reproduction pieces will usually have a rust-resistant finish or coating that protects against chipping, scratching and corrosion. There are a variety of finishes available such as primer and paint, aluminum profile powder coating coatings and galvanizing. They are available in a range of colors and styles.

Since iron is heavy and solid, it is well-suited for windy spots where light fuiture might be blown away. Don't expect it to be highly portable, though. Well-cared for, iron fuishings can last for 100 years.

Much of the iron fuiture available today is wrought iron, rather than cast iron. When you're buying wrought iron, look for pieces made with solid metal rather than hollow tubing, and that are welded, rather than bolted, together. Generally, the better fuiture is North American made.

اختصاصی Silencer Paint Exhaust Systems and Silencers Require Heat and Corrosion Resistant Coatings

    Silencer Paint
Silencers are made to provide solutions to customers' acoustic, emission, and filtration control issues for engines and air movement equipment. The selection of the correct type of engine intake and exhaust silencer is determined by the type of engine, the end use of the engine and the degree of silencing required. These silencers can get hot while in use while also getting surface rust and corrosion due to weathering and high operating temperatures. Silencers are used in different industries and come in many types.

    Power Generation
Silencers are used in this Industry manufactured for acoustic, emission and filtration purposes for gas turbines and diesel engines in stationary and portable power generation applications. These silencers are used for noise control, structural integrity, back pressure minimization, thermal management, emissions treatment and flow distribution optimization.

    Oil & Gas
Silencers are manufactured for oil and gas exploration, distribution and processing. These are used for all air and exhaust needs. Examples of these are exhaust, vent, blower, emission treatment systems. Turbines engines and compressors are used by pipelines and distributors to move product or boost the bonding powder coating from one station to the other. Meeting noise and emission requirements while achieving the maximum production is critical. Silencers in the oil and gas industries these stations will generate a large amount of noise and emissions which can be bothersome and hazardous to the residents within the area and workers on the job site. Excessive dust, moisture, salt water and heat are also created with these systems.

اختصاصی Resveratrol Powder - Is it the Best Value For Your Money?

Resveratrol powder is not your best choice for supplementation. The powders are expensive, and the majority of them are derived from Japanese knotweed or polygonum cuspidatum, the plant's scientific name. Most people have heard of this antioxidant because it is present in the skins of red grapes and in all varieties of red wine.

The content of these natural sources varies, of course, but don't let the supplement companies' claims fool you. All red wine has some resveratrol content. It may be small, but mega-doses are not always better.

The reason that companies use Japanese knotweed is that it is cheaper and more concentrated. There's nothing wrong with a supplement that is derived from this source, but there is something wrong with taking 500-1500mg per day, which is what some of the supplement companies recommend.

You see, there is another compound found in knotweed. It's called emodin. Emodin is a laxative. According to one manufacturer, their powders contain 10% emodin.

So at 500-1500mg per day, you would be getting 50-150mg of emodin. For someone who needs a laxative, 20 to 50mg of emodin is effective.

For a manufacture to recommend that you take this much resveratrol bonding powder coating per day is irresponsible. The daily use of laxatives has a negative side effect: Your body becomes dependent on them. If you are irregular, increased fiber and water intake is what you need. Ask any doctor.

500-1500mg of the extract provides 100mg to 300mg of resveratrol per day. The recommendations that I trust are for 50mg per day of the total extract, which provides 25mg of trans-resveratrol, the form that can cross through the intestine and enter the bloodstream, if the supplement has an enteric coating.

One reason that the recommended dosages of resveratrol powder are so high is that manufacturers know that stomach acid has a negative affect on the supplement, rendering it all but useless to the human body.

They believe that if a person takes a higher dosage, "some" of the antioxidant will enter the bloodstream. But there's no real reason to believe that.

اختصاصی Fireplace Doors Powder Coat Finish

There are many different finishes that are available for your fireplace door. Recent advances in technology have produced new finishing processes that vastly improve the overall quality and durability of fireplace doors. The Powder Coat finish is one such advancement. It is an extremely high quality finish that uses electricity to solidify the painting process.

The powder coat finish is available in a number of pigments (colors) all of which are suitable for the typical fireplace. Darker pigments are more likely to fade if your fireplace doors are used on an outdoor fireplace, so be sure to get a lighter pigment for any products that you plan on using outdoors.

Before the manufacturer applies the finish to your door, they take the product and apply an electrostatic charge to finely ground particles of pigment and resin. The product will be electrically ground so the charged particles will adhere to it. The mixture is then sprayed onto the surface of the fireplace doors and then heated in a curing oven to allow the bonding powder coating to smooth out on the frame. The result is an attractive, durable, and high quality finish.

The Powder Coat finish is more resilient than any other finish. It is resistant to chipping, scratching, and rust. Also, this finish doesn't contain any solvents, which makes it one of the most environmentally friendly finishes out on the market today. The Powder Coat finish has greatly increased the quality of fireplace doors, protecting your investment for years to come.
